How do my clients access Vello?
Your clients can access Vello right from the link included in their appointment or medical service reminders, by downloading the Vello app in the Apple App Store or Google Play Store, or via your custom Vello link, found in your Vello settings. Additionally, you can include a link to Vello on your website, and/or display the QR code found in your Vello settings at your practice for easy access. Best of all, thanks to the deep integration between Neo and Vello your clients are auto-authenticated and never need a password to access Vello.
How does SMS writeback work with Neo?
All automated communications writeback to the communications log and patient record. When you or your client initiates a conversation, ‘Test Thread Initiated’ automatically writes back to the client record. Once you complete a SMS conversation and mark it as ‘Done’, a new record of ‘Text Thread Completed’ writes back to the client record (and patient record if you choose) with the full content of the conversation. You’ll see the Vello icon listed under the staff member in the communications log for all Vello communications.
How long does it take to set up the Vello client experience?
With Vello, there is very little for you to set up. All information will pull from Neo automatically and populate into Vello for your clients to access – like vaccination records, appointment details, and prescription history. When completing your setup, you can add customizations by appointment type like custom instructions and enable recommended care to further personalize your clients experience with Vello by providing education around each reminder. Just like Neo, Vello utilizes ‘Help Me’ for guided how-to content and easy to access support documentation.
